and also Ive used Sony Vegas Movie Studio 13 Platinum. Prior to than I used Corel Videostudio x7 which stopped working for no apparent reason after 2 yrs. Installing the main program requires running the Stub, (Web Installer) an internet connection is required, if your pc is somehow blocking access to the internet then the program will not install. I purchased Corel Videostudio x10 Ultimate through Amazon. Help them to help you….It is most likely that the problem is within your computers environment.
